ABOUT Our Organization

 SI Victims Alliance is a non-profit organization of victims, by the victims and for the victims of the so called “Suruga Scheme”(* 1). Since 2014, we were fooled by the sales talk of Suruga Bank and real estate agents about the property investment business. The documents submitted (deposit balance, withholding slip, rent roll, and sales contract) at the time of loan approval were tempered with. This resulted in higher valuation of the property, and we received a loan that exceeded the real property value. Our organization is working to fight against this injustice and to gain a peaceful life again!

 The victims of this alliance work together with “The Defense Counsel for Victims of Suruga Bank’s Illegal loans(Abbreviation: ‘SI Defense Counsel for Victims.’) headed by Hiroyuki Kawai and Hiroshi Yamaguchi. Our alliance along with defense counsel will review the facts surrounding fraudulent loans and strive to recover the damage.

  The apartment or Condominium loan by Suruga Bank was carried out by the same fraudulent scheme as the share house loan (Kabocha no Basha – or”Pumpkin Carriage; women-only shared houses operated by Smart Days.) (* 2)this has already been revealed. However, Suruga Bank claims that it is a different problem, takes no stance toward solving it, and continues to postpone solving the problem.

 We will continue to fight and let public know about the wrong doings of Suruga bank. We are working towards regaining control of our peaceful life and to ensure such injustice doesn’t happen to other people.

Suruga scheme:
 A loan scheme for profitable properties that allows property evaluations and personal evaluations that are considerably higher than the market price. Loans are provided for properties and to customers who are not eligible for financing in normal banking operations.
 In order to pass the loan examination within Suruga Bank, illegal processing was carried out, ignoring compliance, such as falsification of the rent table and own funds. This allowed real estate agents to work with Suruga to lend full/over loan, which was the foundation for Bank’s rapid growth till 2018.
